As an extension to sculpting for the last 4-5 years I have helped Cheverell & Echilhampton artists to build giant tissue & whicker lanterns for the Devizes Lantern parade which occurs in November. In 2014 we were invited to take our lifesize elephant with monkey on top to the Holborne Museum Bath Lantern parade. DOCA are always looking for local artists to build large lanterns.
The Elephant was invited to Salisbury Cathedral in 2016 and redecorated in Indian Theme for the Devizes 2017 Carnival.
